6th Grader Uses Web To Find Homes For Pets

A sixth-grader in Frederick County is using the Internet to find homes for pets that are in need of adoption.Jennie Lupkin, 11, is a very special girl. She spends most of her free time on her website dedicated to finding homes for stray animals being housed at the Frederick County Animal Shelter.

"I really do love animals. When I'm older, I'm going to have my own animal rescue," said Lupkin.

Lupkin is a 6th grader at Oakdale Middle School and is the proud owner of three goldfish, two parakeets, three hermit crabs and her dog Rupert.

"She gets very emotional about the animals and always wants to be there when people come to the shelter to adopt," said Richard Lupkin.

Lupkin warns people who don't really want animals not to get one.Click Here To Access Jennie's Website
